- Description
- The Candela GentleMax System is a combination of two lasers (755 nm Alexandrite laser and a 1064 Nd:YAG laser) that are used to safely and effectively remove hair on all skin types. No other combination system exists which can provide the same power as the GentleMax. More power (600 J/cm square and 26,400 watts) means a larger treatment spot size can be used thus patients can be treated in less time with fewer cycles. The GentleMax offers the largest spot size on the market - 18 mm at the 1064 nm wavelength. The GentleMax uses a patented Dynamic Cooling Device which utilizes cryogen spray creating less mess and a safer treatment in less time. In addition to its power and efficient treatment capabilities the GentleMax uses a unique ergonomic handpiece that is easy to use and provides significant safety improvements over foot pedals which sometimes can misfire, potentially injuring or causing blindness in the patient. This notice document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32, 31 Mar 09.
