Description
This is a Public Announcement for the Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Oklahoma City, OK for the Acquisition of weekly delivery, pickup, and replenishment of clean shop towels in accordance with the attached Performance Work Statement. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing responses to the Public Announcement. Therefore any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor's expense. At this time the nature of the competition has not been determined. The FAA may decide to do a full and open competition or set aside all or part of the procurement for small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or eligible socially and economically disadvantaged businesses that are certified by the SBA for participation in the SBA's 8(a) Program. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses and 8(a) certified firms, capable of providing the service outlined in the attached Performance Work Statement. This market survey is also being conducted in order to obtain the information necessary to determine whether adequate competition exists to set-aside the competition among small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses or 8(a) certified firms. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 812331, Linen supply services. The anticipated release date of the Request for Quotation will be on or before June 15th, 2009. The evaluation criteria for the offers will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable. Prior to award of a purchase order, all contractors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration, www.ccr.gov. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contract Specialist, Monica Rudolph, at e-mail address monica.rudolph@faa.gov, or mailing address FAA, Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center, Aviation, Medical & Training Division (AMQ-310), P.O.
