- Ramp Replacement. The following work will be performed at the Joseph P. Kinneary U.S. Courthouse, 85 Marconi Boulevard, Columbus, Ohio. The scope of work consist of but is not strictly limited to, furnishing all of the labor, materials, and supervision for the replacement of the concrete topping slab at the Kinneary Courthouse. Options include repairs to the ramp curb and ramp wall spalls. Offers will be accepted from both large and small business concerns, the NAICS IS 236220, and the small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated cost is between $500,000 to $1,000,000. This is a negotiated procurement; there will not be a public bid opening. The solicitation will be available on or about June 26, 2009. The solicitation cited above can only be obtained by accessing a secure website known as the FedBizOpps. FedBizOpps is a secure website designed to safeguard sensitive but unclassified (SBU) acquisition information. In order to obtain information form FedBizOpps, you will fist be required to register with the Central Contractor's Registration database (CCR). You may access CCR at the following URL, www.bpn.gov. Once you register with CCR you will be required to register with FedBizOpps. No federal materials can be downloaded until you have registered under both sites. You may access FedBizOpps via the following URL, www.fbo.gov. Also beginning January 1, 2005, as required by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) all vendors were required to use the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) in federal solicitations as a part of the proposal submission/ You may access ORCA via the following URL, www.orca.bpn.gov. Potential offorers should refer to the solicitation package regarding instructions involving the use of ORCA. Potential offorers will be responsible for downloading the solicitation and monitoring the website for amendments to the solicitation, if any. Offer due date and time for receipt of proposals will be July 27, 2009 at 3:00 PM(CST). Small Disadvantaged Businesses, Woman-owned Businesses, Veteram-owned Businesses, Service-disabled Veteran-owned Small Businesses, and HUBZone Businesses are encouraged to submit offers.
