Description
Location Map of New Supervisor's Office Building. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation documents, incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 05-32. Solicitation number AG-8379-S-09-007 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. This acquisition is a 100% small business set-aside. The Northern American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 335911 and the size standard is 500 employees. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued for this Commercial Item. The solicitation is for the New Supervisor's Office UPS Battery Replacement, with the line items as follows: Item 1: UPS Battery Replacement STATEMENT OF WORK - Project location: New Santa Fe National Forest Supervisor’s Office; Santa Fe, NM. The new office is located at the intersection of State Highway 14 and State Highway 599 (see attached location map). Project work: The New Supervisor’s Office UPS Battery Replacement Project, includes all work and materials necessary for the following installation services: 1. Removal of all existing battery string(s); 2. Installation of new battery string(s); 3. Recycling; and 4. Freight: FOB Destination. The UPS is a Liebert NX Part No. 38SA020C0HJ with two external battery cabinets Liebert Part No. 38BP020RWJ1BNL. Any remaining warranties, guarantees and service contracts provided by the supplier/manufacturer of the UPS shall be preserved. FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation--Commercial Items is applicable. The Government will award the contract to that responsible vendor whose quotation, conforming to the combined synopsis/solicitation, will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and the price-related factors included in the combined synopsis/solicitation. The factors are in descending order of importance. Factor One – Price Factor Two – Product Warranty Factor Three – Proposed delivery schedule Factor Four – Vendor’s Past Performance.
