Description
This synopsis is being posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at http://www.fbo.gov, the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) website located at https://www.neco.navy.mil/, and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition website located at http://www.crane.navy.mil/acquisition/homepage.htm. FBO is the primary point of entry to be used when access to synopses and solicitations from the World Wide Web is required. However, the NECO webpage as well as the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, Acquisition webpage serve as alternatives if the FBO website is unavailable. The Navy intends to enter into a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with Raytheon Technical Services Company (RTSC) Indianapolis, Indiana for repairs of LAU-115 C/A and/or LAU-115 D/A missile launchers. The LAU missile launchers are used on aircraft to launch missiles, and to carry missile launchers to launch missiles. LAU-115 repairs shall include replacement/installation of steel inserts, replacement of steel rails, and/or other structural, mechanical, and electrical repairs as needed. This effort shall also include the repair of low-observable coating as needed and new coat of paint and stencils/marking. The period of the BOA is expected to be three years. Periodic review and synopsis of the BOA will be performed at this activity. Individual job orders will specify required tasks and all applicable delivery terms and conditions. The proposed BOA will be issued on or about 26 June 2009.
