Description: SYNOPSIS FOR SOLICITATION W15P7T-09-R-K004 The United States Army Communications Electronics Command-Lifecycle Management Command (CECOM-LCMC) intends to procure Headset Electrical, NSN 5965-01-464-0220, and Earcushion, NSN 5965-01-418-5535, on a sole source-basis in accordance with (IAW) U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1 with Bose Corporation, 145 Pennsylvania Ave., Framingham, MA., the current manufacturer of the end item. These headsets, consisting of a pair of ear cups and cables, and ear cushions are part of the H-374(V) 4 and 5 Product Improved Combat Vehicular Crewman (PI CVC) Headsets. CECOM-LCMC also intends to procure repair services for the Earcups & Cable Assemblies. Vehicle type for this acquisition shall be a 5-year, Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. Delivery orders will be executed for individual requirements. The first delivery order for the Headset Electrical shall consist of 500 Headset Electrical 150 Days after Contract (DAC) and 300 each month thereafter until completion. The first delivery order for the ear cushions shall consist of 2838 ear cushions 150 Days after Contract (DAC) and 1,000 each month thereafter until completion. All interested parties may submit a proposal which will be considered. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals No Later Than (NLT) 24 JUN 09. Numbered Note 22.
