- Description
- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration has a requirement to provide all labor, supervision, equipment, and material necessary to provide grounds maintenance and snow removal services under a performance based contract at the National Weather Service Forecast Office located at 1 Weather Lane, Gray, ME 04039. Period of performance will be 01 October 2009 through 30 September 2010 with four one-year option periods. The applicable NAICS is 561730 and the small business size standard is $7.0 million in average annual receipts. This requirement is 100% set-aside for small business. The solicitation, notice and all amendments will be posted and available for viewing and downloading on the Government Electronic Posting System (FedBizOpps) site at www.fedbizopps.gov. No paper copies will be issued. No telephone, facsimile or written requests will be accepted. When the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site frequently for any updates/amendments to any and all documents. It is NOAA's intent to conduct this procurement in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) will be issued on or about June 11, 2009 with responses due on or about June 23, 2009. To be eligible for award the offeror must have a valid DUNS Number and be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database.
