- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Patuxent River, MD has a requirement to obtain hardware and incidental services for the support of Surface Aviation Interoperability Laboratory (SAIL) Branch. This acquisition is for the procurement of hardware equipment, upgrades, maintenance, repair, spares, and systems engineering support for various Data Link Systems in support of the SAIL Branch. The Government contemplates an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract and intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with L-3 CSW under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, interested parties may submit a capability statement. All capability statements received in response to this notice must be received by 2:00 pm Eastern Local Time on June 19, 2009 and will be considered by the Government for the purpose of determining whether to initiate a competitive procurement. The Government reserves the right to process this procurement as a sole source based on the responses received. NOTE: DFARS 252-204-7004 Alt A “Required Central Contractor Registration” applies to all solicitation. Lack of registration in CCR database will make an offeror ineligible for award.
