Description
RECOVERY--The Raystown Lake Project under guidance from the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers Baltimore District is seeking the demolition, construction, and renovation of the identified projects below to current facilities in order to provide access under the Architectural Barriers Act, Americans with Disabilities Act, and other proposed outdoor developed area guidelines. All activities described below will occur within several sites of 2 major recreation areas during peak recreation season: The Seven Points Recreation Area and the Raystown Dam. 1. Oak Restroom demolition, restroom construction, site renovation - Seven Points. 2. Raystown Lake Visitors Center automatic entry systems install. 3. Seven Points Campground site renovation. 4. Raystown Dam Recreation Area sidewalk curb cut. 5. Seven Points Bay Camp restroom renovation. 6. Raystown Dam Restroom renovation. 7. Seven Points Beach curb cut and access route. The proposed procurement is restricted to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses; NAICS: 236220 with a small business size standard of not to exceed $33.5 million average annual receipts over preceding three fiscal years, estimated cost of services is $240,000. The solicitation will be provided in an electronic format, free of charge on or about 22 June 2009, to all authenticated account holders of Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) System. Please note that all Corps of Engineers acquisitions are considered sensitive, but unclassified documents and require users to have valid MPIN entered in the FBO systems to access package. The media through which the Government chooses to issue this solicitation will be the Internet only. This solicitation will not be issued in paper. No phone or fax request for copy of solicitation will be accepted. Bids can be submitted after the solicitation announcement by mail to: U. S.
