Dingell Medical Center, Detroit, Michigan. Required work involves space planning, design and renovation work to consolidate Medical Media Services such as photograph, illustration, Electronic Graphic Design and Publishing, Video/Sound Recording, CCTV and LAN, Video Distribution, and Copy Center Reproduction and Finishing into the adjacent Library space, which will continue to operate as the Hospital Library. Existing Library functions include conference rooms, computer laboratory, work space, offices, patient and hospital staff library areas, reference materials, computer work stations and study areas. Contractor will relocate and/or provide new systems, as needed, for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, lighting and ceiling. General Information: Location: John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit MI This project is a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside. The estimated construction cost is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Contractors must be able to bond to $1,000,000. The estimated award date of the contract is 7 August 2009. The contract will have 12 month completion requirement. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code applicable to this requirement is 236220.The small business size standard for this requirement is $33.5 Million in average annual receipts over the past three years.
