GSA anticipates that funding will be used from the pending FY 2009 Omnibus Appropriations Act. This renovation is being designed in metric units and the building is approximately 51,125 gross square meters (550,307 gross square feet). The contractor will perform the construction in accordance with the design specifications, drawings and terms and conditions of the contract. The estimated construction cost range including tenant fit-out is between $120 - $130 million. The Construction Performance Period shall not exceed 1,095 calendar days after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. This timeframe includes tenant buildout. The Offerors must demonstrate past experience providing construction services in the capacity of a tradition General Contractor (GC) on at least two (2) similar projects with at least one (1) project of a value higher than $50M.
