- Air Quality Testing Procedures Mobile Home Specifications Mobile Home Specifications Mobile Home Specifications Mobile Home Specifications THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY This is not a solicitation and no proposals are being requested at this time. Furthermore, any materials provided will not be evaluated for any subsequent award. This sources sought is issued for the sole purpose of conducting market research in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10. This effort is to seek information on qualified HUBZONES, 8(a) and Service Disabled Veteran owned small businesses. The Government is seeking information only on manufacturing, testing and delivery capability of firms in the below categories in providing the following products/services. •· 3 Bedroom Mobile Homes (Building Specifications attached) •· Perform Air Quality Testing (Testing procedures attached) •· Delivery to any location within the United States •· Delivery of items in 60 days from issuance of task order All Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Businesses, certified HUBZone Small Businesses, and certified 8(a) small Disadvantaged Businesses are encouraged to respond. The Government will not pay for any information solicited. Respondents will not be notified of the results of the evaluation. One of the main functions of this sources sought is to assist the Contracting Officer in determining whether a HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Business Set-aside or an 8(a) is an acceptable acquisition strategy for an anticipated procurement. If a full and open competition is ultimately pursued, responses to this sources sought will be used to aid in establishing small business subcontracting goals. The Government anticipates the release of the request for proposal (RFP) on June, 12, 2009 and award in August 2009. The appropriate NAICS Code is 321991 with a size standard of 500 employees. It is requested that interested parties submit a brief capabilities package. This capability package shall address, at a minimum the following: 1. Examples of projects worked within the last five years of similar size, scope and complexity as the work indicated. Indicate whether your firm worked as a prime or subcontractor, contract value, brief description of how the referenced contract relates to the work described, and a Government/Agency point of contact. 2. Company profile, to include number of employees and status, annual reports, office location(s) including manufacturing facilities, size condition and current production type, DUNS number, and CAGE Code. 3. Please indicate if you are a Small Business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business, certified HUBZone Small Business, or certified 8(a) Small Disadvantaged Businesses. •4. Must have adequate financial, manufacturing and Air Quality Testing capabilities (see attached specs). •5. List of equipment utilized, licensing and permits acquired. 6. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to mass manufacture, test and deliver a significant number of Manufactured Homes to locations in the US within 90 days of order to support major disasters or catastrophic events such as Hurricane Katrina or Ike at fair and reasonable prices. To reiterate, the capabilities package for this sources sought notice is not a proposal, but rather a statement regarding the company's ability to demonstrate existing expertise, experience, resources and capability to fulfill such a requirement. Any commercial brochures or currently existing marketing material may also be submitted with the capabilities package. Submission of a capabilities package is not a prerequisite to any potential future offerings, but participation will assist the The Department of Homeland Security, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) in tailoring requirements that are consistent with the industry capabilities.
