Description
The Fort Lee, Directorate of Contracting, Mission and Installation Contracting Command is conducting market research in order to identify the availability of sources for the Administrative/Study/Analysis of the Tactical Fuel and Energy Plan for the Future Modular Force Study, Phase II follow-on contract. (1)Administrative. The contractor shall provide an Execution Plan that outlines sequential work efforts and timelines; and will provide written updates, in-process reviews and briefings to leadership. (2) Study/ Analysis: The contractor shall provide scientific, technical, and professional expertise in the areas of current and future fuels and energy; emerging alternative fuels and renewable energy, current and future vehicles and equipment. The contractor will provide a baseline of how the Army and joint forces will incorporate tactical fuel and energy into the future Modular Force operations; recommend methods for energy reduction given the projected fleet of vehicles and equipment; and anticipated demands for the 2015-2024 timeframe. This requirement will be performed at Fort Lee, VA located 23 miles south of Richmond, VA. Travel is anticipated under this contract to visit government research and development activities or industry to gather information on fuel and energy technologies under development. Shall possess at least a US SECRET clearance. The period of performance contemplated includes a 12-month base year and (three) 3 12 month option years, if approved by the government. This is not a formal solicitation or a request for proposal. This is a Sources Sought announcement seeking interested Small Businesses. For the purpose of small businesses, the NAICS Code is 541690, Other Scientific and Technical Consulting Services, and the Contractor size standard $7.0M. This request for information is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, and the Government will not pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The results of this request may lead to a future synopsis announcement in FEDBIZOPS as a request for proposal. Your response within a limitation of five(5) pages shall include the following information: Company Name, Company Size, CAGE CODE, DUNs Number, Registration in CCR database, Past Performance on same/similar projects for the past five (5) years, and capabilities.
