Description
Attachment A - Statement of Work Solicitation ED-NAG-09-R-0006. Provide World Wide Web Services for the National Assessment Governing Board Web Site. Background: The National Assessment Governing Board is an independent, bipartisan board that sets policy for the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP), commonly known as The Nation's Report Card. NAEP makes objective information on student performance available to policy-makers and the public at the national, state, and local levels. It has served an important role in evaluating the condition and progress of American education for more than three decades. Created by Congress in 1988, the Governing Board is made up of 26 members, including governors, state legislators, local and state school officials, educators and researchers, business representatives, and members of the general public. More information on the Governing Board and its work is at www.nagb.org. Requirements: The Governing Board is seeking a contractor to provide support services for its web site-www.nagb.org, at the expiration of the current contract on September 29, 2009. The successful bidder will work with the incumbent contractor to transition the web site prior to the contract expiration date. An extension of time for the current contract, not to exceed 30 days may be made based on the length of time needed for the transition period. The scope of work required is described in Attachment A, the Statement of Work. Clarification questions are due to the contracting office address by June 11, 2009 at 4:00 P.M. Eastern Time. Telephone clarification questions will not be responded to, and there is no guarantee that questions submitted after June 11, 2009 will be responded to in a timely manner. Proposals are due on July 16, 2009 no later than 2:00 P.M. Eastern Time at the Contracting Office address below.
