- Description
- Commander Navy Region MIDLANT (CNRMA) requires contract support to conduct a physical wall-to-wall plant and minor property inventory located a various NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic (MIDLANT )installations. The inventory shall include: (1) physical inventory (sight, identify, and record); and (2) tagging and/or re-tagging of all plant and minor property items without NAVFAC MIDLANT tags. Inventory will be performed in numerous buildings located throughout the MIDLANT area. These areas are to include Norfolk, VA, Portsmouth, VA, Chesapeake, VA Virginia Beach, VA, Yorktown, VA, Earle, NJ, Mechanicsburg, PA, Philadelphia, PA Lakehurst, NJ, New London, CT, Kittery, ME and Newport, RI. The contractor shall provide a team of fully qualified personnel to provide the services to conduct a physical inventory, tag or retag if necessary, reconcile with the Property Administrator, all data collected for approximately 5500 plant and minor property items. The Contractor shall conduct the ! plant and minor property wall-to-wall physical inventory, using bar code scanner, and shall generate manual inventory sheets when bar code readers cannot be used. The work effort will be scheduled by the Contractor and coordinated by the NAVFAC MIDLANT Property Administrator. Plant and minor property items found that do not have tags will be tagged using tags provided by NAVFAC MIDLANT. A manual inventory sheet, provided by NAVFAC MIDLANT, shall be prepared for these items and used for inputting into the database. For items with other than NAVFAC MIDLANT tags, the old tags shall be removed, replaced with a new NAVFAC MIDLANT tag and recorded. The NAVFAC MIDLANT Property Administrator will provide training and specific guidance generation of reports, completion of mandatory data blocks, and act as a point of contact for the overall inventory process. All work shall be performed Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. except Federal holidays. ! Inventory will commence within one (1) week after award of contract and completed within one to two months after start date. All work under this SOW will be performed at the NAVFAC MIDLANT Buildings and bases as listed on the attached sheet. The NAVFAC MIDLANT will provide the following equipment and supplies: Office space, Equipment, NAVFAC MIDLANT tags, and Materials: Inventory sheets and database listings. The following services, products, and items shall be provided as part of the work effort: A complete and accurate wall-to-wall inventory of all plant and minor property at the NAVFAC MIDLANT facilities, an updated database that reflects a complete and accurate inventory at all facilities and all NAVFAC MIDLANT facility plant and minor property items tagged with NAVFAC MIDLANT tags.
