Description
The Washington Headquarters Service, Acquisition and Procurement Office (WHS/A&PO) Department of Defense, 1155 Defense Pentagon, Washington, DC 20301-1155 is requesting quotes for maintenance services of Tandberg hardware and software. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 811212 with a small business size standard of 100 employees. This is not a small business set-aside. Maintenace for the following Tandberg hardware & software: Qty 78 Tandberg 1000 MXP 20 Tandberg 1000 MXP 3 Tandberg 1000 MXP 55 Tandberg 150 MXP 11 Tandberg 7000 MXP 1 Tandberg MCU 8+8 IP 1 Tandberg 8000 MXP 1 Tandberg Border Controller 1 Tandberg MCU 16+16 IP 1 Tandberg Gatekeeper 1 Tandberg TMS 10 License Maintenance 1 Tandberg TMS 100 License Maintenance 2 Tandberg TMS 25 License Maintenance Maintenance is to include following: •24x7 Help Desk Support The contractor shall provide a toll-free Help desk facility with Tandberg Certified Video Engineers (CVE) ready to respond to the customers technical questions. The help desk personnel will provide all level one (1) and some level two (2) support. The help desk personnel will engage Tandberg when level two and three support is required. The contractors help desk will be available during normal business hours of 8:00 AM EST - 8:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday. The contractor will also provide on call support for after hours, weekends, and holidays with a guaranteed thirty (30) minute response time. •Next Business Day Parts Replacement The contractor shall provide factory replacement/spare parts directly from the manufacturer or from its own equipment inventory. If prior to 2:00PM, EST, Local Time, the Helpdesk representative determines it is necessary; the vendor shall ship spare parts for delivery the next business day. Customer representatives on-site must be made available to assist the help desk personnel to troubleshoot reported problems. All items will be shipped to the Customer by standard overnight express. All defective items shall be properly packaged for shipment and returned to the contractor. Returns shall be shipped via ground carrier. If the defective part is not returned to the contractor within 15 days of the customers receipt of the replacement part, the contractor reserves the right to invoice the customer at the list price for the replacement product(s). During the maintenance period the repair or replacement will be made without charge for materials. The contractor reserves the right to repair or exchange any defective equipment with equipment similar in function. •Firmware/Software Coverage Firmware/Software updates are available when fully released by the manufacturer. The term, updates, references software to which the manufacturer provides, fixes or minor revisions to correct errors or defects in the existing operation of the software at no additional charge for equipment under maintenance. The terms Upgrades and Field Releases mean software, which contains enhancements improving functionality or capabilities of existing software. •24/7 Video Test Facility The contractor shall make available to the customer video conferencing unit(s) for dial-in testing and diagnostics. The video test unit(s) shall be generally available 24 hours per day, however the units may be occasionally unavailable during other customers test calls, routine maintenance, and any network downtime experienced by the contractor. Additional Information: 1. All quotes shall be submitted via GSA/E-Buy. 2. Procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulations, Subpart 8.4 Federal Supply Schedules are applicable to this RFQ. The Government will evaluate quotes based on price. 3. If GSA Contractor Team Arrangements (CTA) are utilized, a copy of the CTA document should be submitted with the quote. Submittals after the closing date and time of the RFQ will not be accepted. Each item quoted shall specify the applicable GSA schedule. For information regarding CTAs, refer to: http://www.gsa.gov 4. Quotes must be firm-fixed-priced, and include all quantities listed on an all or none basis. 5. All Items must be currently available via GSA Schedule with the following exception: For administrative convenience, open market items (not on Federal Supply Schedule) included within a quote may be accepted provided the total amount of all open market items do not exceed the Micro Purchase Threshold of $3,000.00 as defined in FAR 2.101.
