- Description
- The United States Army Special Operation Command (USASOC) has a requirement for a tactical system that will integrate and distribute radio traffic (voice and data) on Internet Protocol (IP) Networks. The contractor shall provide a system that provides a total hardware and software RoIP solution in a single stand-alone box. The RoIP appliance can be physically connected to multiple radios. Four (4) radios can be connected to a single 1 RU chassis. The current system being used by deployed soldiers only allows the connections of two (2) radios. The RoIP appliance provides an IP network PC endpoint the ability to configure radios that are physically connected to the gateway appliances. Operators can set controls from any IP attached station and may configure net, presets, volume, frequency, and mode.
