Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Combined Synopsis/Solicitation Number W9124P-09-T-0013 is to be a Sole-Source procurement to The Mathworks Inc, as according to FAR 13.104 and FAR 6.302-1(b), Only One Responsible Source and no other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. The corresponding NAICS code for this procurement is 511210. The US Army Aviation and Missile Command is soliciting quotes for the purchase and/or update of twenty five individual licenses; 120960, 224876, 228556, 228558, 229488, 233209, 249757, 249758, 249759, 249760, 249761, 249762, 282561, 281211, 281489, 320992, 320993, 323891, 323892, 323893, 323906, 323907, 513750, 68236, 323894, and SOFTWARE MAINTENANCE for MATLAB and Simulink tool sets. This procurement must update all license end dates to end on 1 June, 2010 being that licenses currently have different life cycles. Multiple entries of license seats provide advanced development and simulation capability needed to support the Patriot PAC-2 and PAC-3 programs. The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-32. All items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. Any award resulting from this RFQ will be issued on Standard Form 1449 and will contain all clauses required by law, the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS) as appropriate for the dollar value of the award.
