- This solicitation will result in the placement of a Long Term Contract (LTC) with a base year and four (4) option years for NSN 2840-01-130-2763, Deflector, Heat, in accordance with Metal Spinners, Inc. part number 6042T37G03 / General Electric part number 6042T37G03. The only approved sources for this item are Metal Spinners and General Electric. Manufacturers other than the approved sources wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) package. Visit http://www.dscr.dla.mil/userweb/sarguide.doc for details on how to submit a SAR package. First Article Test and Production Lot Test apply to this material. This procurement will result in a firm fixed price contract. Terms are FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Delivery is 270 days after receipt of order. This is a commercial item with critical application and configuration control. This solicitation is unrestricted. The estimated annual quantity for the base year and all option years is 2,600 each. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies. The final contract decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors described in the solicitation. End item application is F404 Engine. The solicitation opening date is 06/11/09, and the closing date is 07/14/09.
