Description
STATEMENT OF WORK REPLACE 3 DISSOLVED OXYGEN (DO) PROBES AT WASTEWATER TREATMENT PLANT (WWTP) 1. SCOPE: The work covered by this statement of work consists in furnishing all plant, labor, equipment, appliances and materials and performing all operations in connection with the replacement 3 DO probes in the oxidation ditch at the WWTP. All work to be done by a certified technician. 2. SCADA SYSTEM: Contractor will ensure the self cleaning DO probes are compatible to the existing SCADA system. 3. PURCHASE AND INSTALL: Contractor shall purchase and install 3 new self cleaning DO probes replacing the old ones in the oxidation ditch. Probes must be compatible to the available power supply and mounting system. Contractor will provide power and communication cable through existing conduits. Contractor will connect the probes to SCADA system at the WWTP office. 4. TESTS: After the installation is complete and at such time as the Contracting Officer may direct, the contractor shall conduct an operation test for approval to ensure the DO probes are operational. The equipment shall be demonstrated to operate in accordance with the requirements of manufacturer specifications. The test shall be performed in the presence of the base controls technician and wastewater treatment operators. The contractor shall furnish all instruments and personnel required for the test. 5. SUBMITTALS: The contractor shall provide submittals for any additional work that may need repair. 6. WARRANTY: The contractor shall provide a 1-year warranty on all work and material. PERFORMANCE PERIOD Work under this contract shall be completed within 30 calendar days after receipt by the contractor of written Notice to Proceed.
