Description
The IRS intends to issue a competitive RFQ/RFP for the following brand name requirement: Informative Graphics Corporation (IGC) for the consolidation of several IGC supplied IT licenses. This consolidation includes: 34,215 Brava client licenses, 22 Brava server licenses, and 16 Net-It Enterprise Server licenses. Option years for the maintenance from the current cycle date for each product through: •September 30, 2009; as the base, •Option 1 from October 1, 2009 through March 31, 2010, and •Option 2 and 3 to provide the recurring annual maintenance effective April 1, 2010 and April 1, 2011. Account Management Services (AMS), one of the four pillars of modernization, has a need to consolidate software licenses that were acquired through 6 different purchases, therefore requiring 6 different life cycle dates for maintenance. These software licenses are currently used by the IRS. This affords IGC to be the most qualified to continue their support for the licenses maintenance; while also providing the Government the opportunity to consolidate all the life cycles under one order, saving the Government time and costs, as well as securing the Governments future maintenance cost through option years. The maintenance provided by IGC is the only service available under these licenses, as the IRS is currently within a maintenance cycle (on several of the licenses). IGC is also the most compliant maintenance provider available on the market for these particular licenses, as well as, meets the IRS Enterprise Architecture compliance. This is not an RFQ but a notice of intent to procure brand name requirement IGC. The IRS is not requesting information from resellers of the brand name but manufacturers that can perform the brand name equivalent. All manufacturers that can perform the equivalent function/services should submit their technical qualifications and literature to the following address: Kathy.l.winemiller@irs.gov. The requirement will close on May 29, 2009, at 2 pm EST.
