- The purpose of Amendment 1 to Combined Synopsis/Solicitation W31P4Q-09-T-0499 is to modify the specifications and extend the timeframe for receipt of quotations as follows: Solicitation number W31P4Q-09-T-0499 is being issued as a request for quote for a Basic and two Options. This requirement includes the following items: CLIN 0001 for the Basic effort shall consist of 100 Threaded Base Semi-Conductor Bridge Initiators and 100 Standard Plug and Shell SCB Initiators. The period of performance for Basic effort will be from date of award through six months. CLIN 0002 for Option 1 shall consist of up to 200 Threaded Base Semi-Conductor Bridge Initiators. Option 1 may be utilized multiple times in lots of 50, 100, 150, or 200 up to a maximum of 200 units. The period of performance for the exercise of Option 1 will be 30 days after date of award of the Basic contract through 30 September 09. CLIN 0003 for Option 2 shall consist of up to 200 Standard Plug and Shell Semi- Conductor Initiators. Option 2 may be utilized multiple times in lots of 50, 100, 150, or 200 up to a maximum of 200 units. The period of performance for the exercise of Option 2 will be date of award through 30 September 09. Detailed specifications are available upon request from point of contact below. The preference is that all items shall include shipping costs FOB Destination to Redstone Arsenal, AL. In the event FOB Origin is proposed, shipping costs must be included in the quotation and the vendor will be required to arrange for shipping to Redstone Arsenal, AL. All quotes shall include delivery dates expressed in days or weeks from award date. Quotes are due no later than 3:00 pm on 1 June 2009 in the contracting office, building 5400 Room B148, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898. Electronic quotes are preferred. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. The quotes received will be evaluated on the basis of lowest price, technically acceptable. In order for the quote to be considered technically acceptable, it must meet the specifications. All quotes should include a statement that the quoted item is a commercial item in accordance with FAR 2.101 along with a commercial pricelist or price support, the companys cage code and DUNS number. Quotes/offers received after the specified due date and time will not be considered for award. Please note that the selected vendor will be required to have a pre-award safety survey, so adjust your proposal validity date accordingly.
