Description
REQUEST FOR QUOTE The work includes furnishing all labor, tools, equipment and materials for station improvement at the U.S. Coast Guard STATION MARATHON, FLORIDA, ADMINISTRATIVE/BARRACKS BUILDING consisting but not limited to the following: a. Inspect, plan, and coordinate project to minimize interference with USCG operations. b. Remove ceiling insulation and ceiling tile as required to apply foam spray. c. Provide a bead of structural closed-cell adhesive spray foam spray (ASTM D3498) to each side of all top chords of trusses and to all plywood joints perpendicular to trusses. d. Provide (furnish and install) a bulkhead between all trusses at the tie beam. Construct bulkhead out of 3/4” rigid foam board o.k.a. “Blue board”. e. Provide (furnish and install) 4” minimum open-cell spray foam insulation over the entire underside of the roof deck. f. Reinstall ceiling insulation and ceiling tile. g. The above list is not an all-inclusive list of all work. h. USCG personnel will occupy adjacent areas bordering construction. Therefore contractor shall provide visqueen and tarps to contain overspray and dust generated by the activity. The contractor shall clean all surfaces below ceilings of work related dust and spray spatter prior to commencing the next area of work. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This solicitation is 100 percent set-aside for Small Business concerns. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 2007 code is 238160 with a size standard of $14.0 million.
