- RECOVERY: PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR REPAIR AND SEAL COATING THE ROADS AT SALISBURY NATIONAL CEMETERY LOCATED IN ROWAN COUNTY IN SALISBURY, NORTH CAROLINA. This project is funded form the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), National Cemetery Administration, is soliciting bids under Solicitation Number VA-786A-09-RA-0054 for the following: Contractor shall provide all professional services, labor, materials, tools and equipment necessary for road repair work and seal coating of roads on the cemetery property. COST MAGNITUDE: The magnitude of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. CONTRACT DURATION: The performance period is approximately 60 calendar days from date of receipt of the Notice to Proceed. NAICS: 237210SIZE STANDARD: $33.5 million METHOD OF AWARD: THE GOVERNMENT CONTEMPLATES AWARD OF A FIRM FIXED-PRICE SERVICE CONTRACT UNDER SERVICE DISABLED VETERAN OWNED (SDVOSB) SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Award will be made on a competitive basis under Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 14 to a responsible SDVOSB responding to this solicitation. OBTAINING SOLICITATION MATERIALS: Solicitation material consisting of the Invitation for Bid (IFB) details and specifications may be accessed ONLY via FedBizzOpps at http://www.fedbizzops.gov. No telephone requests will be accepted. The solicitation and statement of work will be released for issue on June 5, 2009. SOLICITATION AMENDMENTS: Amendments to the solicitation will be up loaded to FedBizzOpps. Offerors are reminded that they are responsible for obtaining and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation prior to the time for receipts of offers. Paper copies of the amendments will NOT be individually mailed.
