- Description
- The 355th Contracting Squadron intends to issue a sole-source procurement action with Goodmans Interior Structures, for the procurement of the following items: Herman Miller systems furniture to match and be interchangeable with existing furniture. This requirement is conducted under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Requirement. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source procurement action and is not a request for competitive proposals. Firms who want to challenge the sole source must submit an interest letter that demonstrates your firm's ability to provide an equivalent supply as described above. Interested parties must provide rationale as to why they should be considered. All interested firms must respond to this synopsis by Friday, 29 May 2009, 12:00 PST to SSgt Ian Lutjens, 355th Contracting Squadron, 3180 S Craycroft Rd. Tucson, AZ 85707. Responses received will be reviewed; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion for the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The 355th Contracting Office will not reimburse for any costs incurred with providing your capability information.
