Description
A Pre-Proposal Conference took place on 15 May 2009 at Camp Pendleton. This is the sign-in sheet from the conference. An attachment is added as of 20MAY09: the Sign-in sheet for the vendors in attendance at the Pre-proposal conference. 1. Within the previous amendment to this solicitation a requirement for weed-abatement was added. This requirement is herewith deleted, as this will be handled by a previously-established contract. 2. A triple rinse of the fuel tank will be handled by a previously-established contract. Accordingly, there will be no requirement for said rinse to be handled under this solicitation/contract. 3. The winning vendor will be authorized to utilize the "3-Mile Pit" located on Camp Pendleton for the disposal of all debris resulting from the demolition of the presently in-place concrete foundation. The site is approximately 6-7 miles away from the work site. This will alleviate the vendor from having to haul this debris off of the base, and should accordingly be used in the vendor's proposal. 4. Vendor should plan on staging all equipment within the fenced perimeter. This will include portable sanitation units and any power equipment. 5. The vendor will be required to send personnel to the base RSO (Range Safety) Class as soon as possible after notice of award. Until said personnel are trained, all work crews will be required to have a military base escort to the site. Once the personnel are trained, the crew will be able to approach the site without said escort. Vendor will be issued radios by the MCAS base environmental office for the duration of the project work. Training for radio usage will be given at the RSO Class. 6. All Past Performance Questionnaires must be submitted by COB 02 June 2009. Accordingly, ensure your questionnaire recipients are cognizant of this date. 7. Reminder: all questions must be submitted in writing using the question form contained within the solicitation. The form may be submitted via electronic mail. Cut-off date for question submission is 29 May 2009.
