Description
FOR QUESTIONS FOR THIS MARKET SURVEY PLEASE CONTACT GERALD VOGEL AT Gerald.Vogel@us.army.mil DESC The US Army CECOM Life Cycle Management Center, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703, intends to issue a sole source modification to Firm Fixed Price Contract Number W15P7T-06-D-F817 for acquisition of the ID-2279/A Stabilization Indicator. The modification is to extend the contract's ordering period from 11 June 2011 to 11 June 2014 to enable additional Delivery Orders (DOs) to be issued for the indicator. There will be increase to the contractual ceiling value as a result of this action, along with 3 additional years of Period Of Performance. The estimated yearly quantity is 140 units per year for 3 years. The ID-2279/A indicators are used in US Army UH-60 Blackhawk helicopters to show the pilot the position of the horizontal stabilizers. Two indicators are used in each aircraft. Indicator has a lighted needle pointer that indicates up 10deg or down 40deg of the aircraft stabilizers. It provides the pilot with information concerning the aircrafts movements and stability. The Government does not posses complete, detailed, and current technical data for the indicator that would be essential for any other source to be able to produce form, fit, and functionally interchangeable spare parts to ensure the effective operation of the Black Hawk Helicopters. This sole source modification is authorized under FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and 10USC2304(c)(1) with Honeywell International Inc, 1300 W Warner Road, Tempe, Arizona 85284. No telephone responses will be accepted, only responses in writing will be considered. This information can be e-mailed to the Governments points of contact as follows: Gerald.Vogel@us.army.mil and Robert.Liang@us.army.mil. This SSA is for informational purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals. The deadline for response is 04 June 2009.
