- Description
- The U. S. Coast Guard intends to negotiate a contract with a certified HUBZONE contractor, to provide all management, supervision, labor, and economical completion of all Base Operating and Support Services (BOSS) for the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Barbers Point, Kapolei, Hawaii. The work performed under this proposed contract includes the following specific items and tasks for preventive and/or incidental maintenance, repairs and services. 1. Fire Protection Systems 2. Security, CCTV & Intercom Systems 3. Oil/Water Separator & Grease Trap 4. Food Service (galley) equipment 5. Air Conditioning & Ventilation Systems 6. Scrubbers & Sweeper equipment 7. Fuel Storage & Distribution System 8. Streets, Parking Lots, & Aircraft Ramp sweeping 9. Pest Control 10. Custodial services 11. Refuse service 12. Water Treatment Systems 13. Wet Foreign Waste This notice is not a request for proposals (RFP) or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. If/when a solicitation is released, it will be release as Total HUBZONE and will be awarded before mid September 2009. Therefore only certified HUBZONE contractors at the time proposals are due will be qualified to submit a proposal. Contractors interested in pursuing HUBZONE status for this or future solicitations can find information at the HUBZONE link: https://eweb1sp.sba.gov/hubzone/internet/index.cfm A determination by the Government not to proceed with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Interested contractors are requested to submit their capability statement by Email to Mary Myers at mary.k.myers@uscg.mil or by mail to Maintenance & Logistics Command Pacific, Coast Guard Island, Bldg. 54C, Alameda, CA 94501-5100, Attention: Mary Myers. Responses should include this Sources Sought Number 4ABRB1; your business name, a contact name and phone number, HUBZONE certified status, the size of your business, number of years in business, and your DUNS number. The Government will not pay for any information or materials provided in response to this Sources Sought Notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender.
