- NAICS Code: 813920 Response Date/Time: May 26, 2009 - 10:00AM EDT The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Office of Human Resources (OHR) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to The Society of American Indian Government Employees (SAIGE), of Stafford, VA, under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this purchase order is to co-sponsor SAIGE's sixth annual training conference and career fair, to be held June 1-5, 2009, and to obtain the following deliverables: 1)Registration for exhibit booth at SAIGE 2009 conference;2)EPA logo on conference materials and full page advertisement in conference book;3)Twenty (20) registrations for Native youth to attend training;4)Four (4) conference registrations; and5)EPA banner display. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 813920. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. SAIGE is the only federal employee's organization that provides training specifically for American Indian/Alaska natives in the federal services. The training conference will include a career fair and a special session, youth track, designed specifically for Native American students. As such, the SAIGE Youth Track fulfills the requirements of EO 13270 by supporting tribal colleges and universities. Based on market research and other available information, it has been determined that SAIGE is uniquely qualified to satisfy the Government's requirement. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement, as stated herein, may submit their corporate capabilities, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing and submitted to Nicole Humphrey, Contracting Officer at humphrey.nicole@epa.gov by the response date/time listed above. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
