This notice may represent the only official notice.1.512x512, 16um, E#MCCD, BV, 10MHz,-100C Part #: DU-897D-C00-#BV. 2.IXON PCI Controller CardPart #: CCI-23.3.IMAGING SOFTWARE Part #: SOLIS (I)4.SOFTWARE DEVELOPMENT KIT CCD PCI SYSTEMPart #: ANDOR-SDK-CCD. The laboratory of Cardiovascular Science utilizes this equipment to monitor single molecule microscopic imaging. The Photometric Evolve camera is designed for very specific Low Light Scientific Imaging laboratory applications. This equipment achieves the required low level of dark noise for single molecule detection experiments, in comparison to other detector on the open market has more variable digitization, equivalent cooling, resolution, and Quantum efficiency and cannot only suppress random noise, but we also have the ability to read out the image not in grey values, but in counted photons, which we require. The Andor iXon DU-897 EMCCD detector is required to normalize and compare the signals down to the single photo level, and is the only proven unit to achieve linear gain settings with multiplication values settings at all temperatures, yielding true quantitative signals. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received prior to May 25, 2009 will be considered by the government. A determination by the government not to compete with this proposed contract base upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. This is a solicitation for non commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 16.2, utilizing competitive procedures.
