Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Privatized Corrections Contracting, Office, Washington, D.C. is seeking quotes from sources having the ability to provide community-based outpatient substance abuse treatment and mental health services for Federal inmates residing in the Volunteers of America Residential Reentry Center, located at 175 Ward Street, Rochester, NY 14605, or on home confinement. The location where services are to be provided should be in the city limits and downtown/central Rochester, NY and within.4 miles of a bus route. The treatment location should be no further north than Lake Avenue and West Ridge Road; no further east than East Avenue and Culver road; no further south than Monroe Avenue and South Goodman Street; and no further west than Genesee Street. Performance periods under this contract will be for a one-year base period to begin on October 1, 2009 with four (4) one-year option periods, with service ending (if all options years are renewed) on September 30, 2014. The services required for this contract include a Base Year, Option Year One, Option Year Two, Option Year Three and Option Year Four, respectively. The contractor must have documented experience working with an inmate population and understand the criminal justice system. The services shall be in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) Statement of Work dated March 2009. A request for quotation will be available on or after May 28, 2009 and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administrations Federal Business Opportunities web site http://www.fedbizops.gov. Hard copies of the quotation will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. Faith-Based and Community -Based Organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
