****ATTENTION****FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO LaVerne Askew or Lillie J. Williams, Contracting Officer. You may FAX or mail your request ATTN: CCAM-CH-B, LaVerne Askew, Contract Specialist, FAX number 256-876-9066. NO TELEPHONE REQUEST WILL BE ACCEPTED, Quantity: 135 minimum / 405 maximum 3 Year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity requirements with First Article Test in support of the broader CH-47. Thes item are restricted to The Boeing Company, CAGE Code 77272, because the design of the A-Kits and B-Kit contains proprietary design information, only Boeing Defense Systems, Philadelphia has the capability to provide. There is no opportunity to complete provisioning and qualify a new source in the limited time remaining before a contract must be awarded for the production and delivery of IRSS A-Kits. This procurement will include as a minimum, the procurement of A and B Kits, Insulating Blankets, Engine Covers for the B-Kit, and A-Kit Supplemental Hardware Package. Therefore, until provisioning and breakout can be accomplished, only Boeing Defense Systems has the capability to provide IRSS B-Kits and A-Kits. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described and pass first article testing above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under Qualification Procedures for Aviation Requirements. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet pre-qualification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the Agency.
