- RECOVERY. This notice is provided for informational purposes only. The project will be funded through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act 2009. This opportunity (Solicitation # INE00021) is available as a competitive task order only to contractors that were awarded an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Construction Manager as Constructor Contract in the geographic area described as the State of Nebraska including the Cities of Council Bluffs and Sioux City in the State of Iowa for GSA Region 6 (GS06P07GYD0039-49). A listing of the contractors is provided below for informational purposes and subcontracting opportunities. The estimated closing proposal response date is June 4, 2009. The estimated award date is June 18, 2009. The FSC Code is Z111, NAICS Code 236220, and the size standard is $33,500,000. Estimated amount of this task order is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work to be delivered under this task order includes, but is not limited to: (1) Pre-Construction Phase Services including design development, constructability reviews, value engineering, cost estimating, schedule development, (2) Construction Phase Services including installation of new energy management and control system, plumbing fixture replacement and associated restroom renovations, replacement of drinking fountains with new electrical water coolers, replacement of cabinet unit heaters at building lobby, replacement of cooling tower, ceiling system replacement, new wall painting, carpet, floor base, stair covering, floor tile replacement, basement water damage repairs, landscaping and sidewalk replacement, boiler replacement, and asbestos abatement at the North Platte Federal Building/United States Post Office/U.S. Courthouse, 300 East 3rd Street, North Platte, NE 69101.
