- Marge Weed TreatmentL09PS00493 The Bureau of Land Management, Nevada State Office, is seeking a qualified vendor to furnish labor, equipment, supplies and materials to treat noxious weeds on selected sites in the BLM Elko District as specified in the solicitation. Solicitation number L09PS00493 will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the herbicide treatment of the noxious weeds. DESCRIPTION/LOCATION OF WORK - Using Contractor furnished labor, supervision, equipment, and supplies/materials (except for specified Government furnished property) the contractor will treat an estimated 1,500 acres in designated area. THE CONTRACTOR MUST HOLD A CURRENT NEVADA COMMERCIAL PEST CONTROL LICENSE. The prescribed herbicides must be those found on the list of Herbicides Approved for Use on BLM Lands (to be included in the solicitation package). The contractor will be responsible for purchasing and storing needed herbicides. The herbicide treatment site is 12 miles southwest of Elko, Nevada in Elko County around Grindstone Mountain. The treatment site includes approximately 1,500 acres. Complete specifications and requirements will be included in the solicitation package. Solicitation package will be available electronically on or about May 15, 2009. Please print the Standard form (SF)-1449 and all clauses and attachments. Quotes will be due on or about May 28, 2009. Quotes must be submitted to Bureau of Land Management, Elko District Office; Attention: Tanya Arnberger, 3900 E. Idaho Street, Elko, NV 89801. By express or hand delivery to: Bureau of Land Management, Elko District Office; Attention: Tanya Arnberger, 3900 E. Idaho Street, Elko, NV 89801, or by facsimile to (775) 753-0246. An award will be made based on Technical Capability, Past Performance and Price. Quotes must include the following items: 1) Pricing Schedule including unit price, 2) Applicator's experience and Company experience as detailed in the solicitation, including a copy of the NEVADA COMMERCIAL PEST CONTROL LICENSE, 3) Relevant Past Performance from the past three (3) years as detailed in the solicitation, 4) Include TIN and DUNS Number, 5) Offer must be signed, and 6) Representations and Certifications must be submitted (Note: Annual representations and certifications can be completed at Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at http://orca.bpn.gov. If not completed electronically, then FAR Clause 52.212-03; Offeror Representations and Certifications, found in the solicitation package, must be completed.) This is a 100% set-aside for small business. The standard NAICS classification is 115310. Size standard is $6.5 million. The Government intends to award this contract on an all-or-none basis. The solicitation will be issued on or about April 30, 2009. Detailed information, including a Statement of Work and Maps, will be included.
