Description: THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER CONTRACT # AG-31ME-C-08-1029. Rural Development (RD) is issuing a modification to contract # AG-31ME-C-08-1029 with the National Rural Water Association for the purpose of exercising optional line items and increasing one line item within the contract. The purpose of this contract is to provide on-site technical assistance to RD eligible water systems in the following areas: operations and maintenance, treatment, compliance, construction, financial sustainability management, vulnerability assessment/emergency response plans, and general management, and board training. The contract modification translates into significantly more rural water and wastewater systems being funded for new and/or upgraded systems.
