Description

The Department of Defense Dependents Schools (DoDDS) Pacific/Department of Defense Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Guam intends to procure Cisco VPN router system 7204 utilizing a Firm-Fixed-Price type purchase order on other than Full and Open Competition, brand name only basis, The brand name is required to guarantee long term compatibility and interoperability with the retained software and hardware (Cisco Systems VPN Bundles) that makes up the system that is vital to our organization. Further Detailed specifications and requirement information will be included in Request for Quote (RFQ) Number HE1260-09-T-1005. The RFQ will be posted in the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about 24 May 2009, to close on 20 days after solicitation issue date. Award will be made in accordance with FAR Part 12 in conjunction with FAR Part 13 as applicable. The Department of Defense requires all contractors to register in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database to receive any contract award or payment. The CCR website is: http://www.ccr.gov. In accordance with FAR Part 4.1201, prospective contractors shall complete electronic annual representations and certifications via the Online Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) at: http://orca.bpn.gov in conjunction with required registration in the CCR database.
