RECOVERY - The purpose of this modification is to make note that the Designer of Record for this work must be a Structural Engineer licensed for practice in the state of Illinois. The Designer of Record must work for an Illinois Department of Transportation Prequalified Consultant(http://www.dot.state.il.us/desenv/preqcons.html) firm. Said firm must be, at a minimum, prequalified in the category (Highway Structure: Typical). The construction firm must be an Illinois Department of Transportation Prequalified Prime Construction (http://www.dot.state.il.us/const/preqfirms.html) firm for the following categories: 09A, 09B or 09C; Highway Structures, Highway & Railroad Structures, or Highway, Railroad & Waterway Structures. Category 017; Concrete Construction and category 034; Demolition. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (12-MAY-2009); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
