- OBJECTIVE: This request is to gather information from interested parties on the attached specification for Fischer-Tropsch Processed Marine Diesel (FT/F76) for the Navy. DESC would like to request your feedback on this specification with the following: 1) Would you be able to produce the product meeting the attached specification so it can be purchased by the Defense Energy Support Center. 2) If production of this specification is not possible will you be able to come close to meeting this specification? Please include what properties of the specification are of concern and what your expected limits/values for those properties would be in order for you to be able to produce the product as close to the specification as possible. DISCLAIMER: This RFI is issued solely for information purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. All information received in response to this RFI that is marked Proprietary will be handled accordingly. Responses to the RFI will not be returned. In accordance with FAR 15.201(e), responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract.
