Description
This is a combined synopsis / solicitation Request for Quote (RFQ) for commercial item prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, and FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedure as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This RFQ is set aside for Small Business in accordance with FAR 19.5, Small Business Set Aside. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation and a written RFQ will not be issued. The solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-32. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement is requesting quotation to provide Preventive Maintenance (PM) Services for an X-ray Inspection System Model 66Z manufactured by American Science and Engineering, Inc. Equipment is located at 800 Truxton Ave., Bakersfield, CA 93301. The interested contractor shall submit the following for consideration. 1. Firm Fixed Price for a Base year and Four (4), One (1) Year Period. 2. Description of Preventive Maintenance services that shall be performed including but not limited to the number of scheduled and unscheduled services that shall be performed, point of contact, etc. Government reserves the right to request for three (3) Past Performance references prior to award. Award shall be for a Base Year and Option to extend for Four (4), One (1) Year period to the contractor that is most advantageous to the Government.
