- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) is soliciting sources for TC-550 Heavy Duty Vacuum Suction Banknote Counter high quantity, compact design, with UV detection spindle counter, free mode: 1 to 200 notes free to counting, preset mode: 1 to 200 notes preset to counter, manual mode: 1 to 200 notes to manual counting, reset mode Banknote holder reset to counting, ACC mode: Accounting the total notes counted. Option mode: Automatically stamping, when count to 100, self-diagnosis test mode, checking vacuum pressure, LED, spindle sets, counter sets motors, mechanical process of counting and banknote feeding, Dimension 374X374X260mm. Carton size 600X500X370mm, net weight 25kg, gross weight: 30.5kg, power supply 100-120VAC/50-60HZ or 200-240VAC/50-60HZ. Power consumption: 330w, temperature unlimited use + 10-40degree centigrade, ambient humidity 30-75% counting speed approx. 100 note per section, LED display 2 large red LED display for easy viewing, Hopper capacity: approx. 200, banknote size: width 45-100mm length: 100-240mm, new feature RS232 port interval, Position system, Vacuum Pressure sensor and reset key, option: ED external display, OK band stamping module, UV detecting device RS232 interface. Quantity: 6 EA. (4) counters will be delivery to Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Washington D C and (2) counter will be delivery to Bureau of Engraving and Printing in Fort Worth TX. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; a written request for quotation will not be issued. This acquisition is set-side for small business. The applicable North American Industry Classification system (NAICS) code is 333999, with a small business size standard of 500 employees. The request for quotation (RFQ) number is RFQ-09-0188. The resulting purchase order shall be firm fixed price. All interested small businesses are requested to submit a written quotation, which will be considered by the agency. Quotations may be submitted on a SF1449, SF18 or on company letterhead. Quotations shall include the RFQ number, the proposed unit price, the proposed extended price, any prompt payment discount terms, company name, point of contact, address, phone number, fax number, tax identification number, DUNS numbers, size status (that is, small business, disadvantaged business or woman owned business). Quotations are due by 2:30 P.M. on May 25, 2009.
