- Solicitation IQC09125009006 will contain one NSN1450-00-250-8822 for an Adapter, Hook; Application/ Weapon System: F/A 18 HORNET, AIRCRAFT. This requirement will be solicited for award of a Stock/DLA Direct Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). The award will be for a 1-year base and four 1-year option periods. Solicitation will be procured IAW available drawings as a Small Business Set-Aside; Unrestricted, Full and Open Competition after Exclusion of Sources procedure. A Government First Article Test (FAT) requirement is required for 1 unit. Waiver of FAT is authorized and must be requested when the proposal is submitted. A Higher Level Contract Quality Requirement applies. The potential awardee must be export control certified. Instructions on how to become certified will be provided in the solicitation. Estimated Annual Quantity (EAQ) and Maximum Annual Quantity (MAQ) are as follows: Base and Four Option Years EAQ: 58 each: Base and Four Option Years MAQ: 115 each. Delivery: FOB: Destination; Inspection /Acceptance: Origin, Delivery Schedule 112 days ARO if FAT is waived/ 262 days ARO if FAT is not waived. Surge coverage is not required for this NSN. Specifications, plans or drawings related to the procurement described are available and will be posted in the C folders. Instructions for obtaining the drawings will be posted in the solicitation. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, delivery, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The solicitation issue date is estimated at May 26, 2009. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the Business Systems Modernization DLA Internet Bid Board System http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil on the issue date cited in the RFP.
