Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs North Texas Health Care System, Dallas, TX, has a requirement for total electric service. Delivery site is the main facility located at 4500 S. Lancaster Road, Dallas, TX 75216. The successful Offeror will supply this electric service for a period of 12 months beginning approximately 1 August 2009. Offerors are required to have certification by the Public Utility Commission (PUC) of Texas as a Retail Electrical Provider (REP). Request for Proposal VA-257-09-RP-0169 will be issued approximately 29 May 2009. This acquisition shall be conducted through full and open competition and shall result in a single award of a firm-fixed price contract to the offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government, technical, price and other factors considered. This North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code 221122. The solicitation will be issued via the FedBizOpps at ttp://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Telephone requests will not be accepted. All interested parties must register on the FedBizOpps site in order to receive notification or changes and/or new postings to the solicitation. All potential offerors are reminded that in accordance with FAR 52.212-4(t) all contractors are required to be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database in order to conduct business with the Federal government. Lack of registration in the CCR database may make an offeror ineligible for award. The website is located at http://www.ccr.gov/.
