Description

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Region 6, has a requirement for a commercial item. This combined synopsis/solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 (as supplemented with additional information included in this notice). This posting will be referred to under Request for Quotation (RFQ) Number 601819Q118. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written solicitation will not be issued. This RFQ falls under procedures in FAR Parts 12 and 13. This document incorporates provisions and clauses updated by way of the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-31, effective April 20, 2009. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) number is 423390 with a business size standard of 500 employees. This requirement is a Total Set-Aside for Small Business. This announcement constitutes the Government's only official notice of this procurement. FWS' salient characteristics that will satisfy the Government's needs for its requirement for wildlife gates are: Wildlife Gate, 8 feet wide x 84 inches high; 9 bars with 1 vertical 2 inch 16 GA pipe. Quantity required: 42 each For FOB Destination Delivery to: U.S. Fish and Wildlife, Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, 5650 Havana Street, Building 121, Commerce City, Colorado 80022. All pertinent point of contact information including DUNS No. is to be referenced on all quotes. In addition, your quote should provide unit price, total price, delivery date, and FOB Destination. No formal format is required as this is a combined synopsis/RFQ. If your company has a GSA contract, please provide the GSA Contract No. as well. Quotes must be received no later than close of business (4 p.m. MDT), Friday, May 15, 2009, at U.S. Fish and Wildlife, PO Box 25486, Denver, CO 80225. Offers received after this date and time will be considered non-responsible in accordance with 52.212-1(f) and will not be evaluated. Offerors must comply with all instructions contained in FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Items. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Also included in this acquisition are the following clauses: 52.204-7, 52.215-5, 52.225-01, 52.232-1, 52.233-1, 52.243-1, 52.246-20, 52.252-5, 52.252-6, FWS 1452.204-1, DOI 1452.212-1, and DOI 1452.242-7.
