- Description
- Modification issued in response to additional inquires regarding clarification of solicitation. 1. You request documentation of projects of a similar scope, how many projects would you like documented? What do you consider the comparable scope of this project? ANS: The number of projects is up to the vendor. Comparable scope is an organization with roughly 1,900 employees. 2. Scope: How many desktops at how many sites? How many remote users, peak daily and monthly? ANS: We have 1900 total employees (combination of full-time military/civilian and part-time traditional Guardsmen.) 3. Do you have any additional or supplemental material that could inform our response to your RFQ? ANS: No. 4. Timing - When do you hope to launch the new sites? Is there a specific event driving the launch? ANS: There is no specific event driving the launch. Our expectation is that the vendor, using past experience, will provide the launch dates as part of the project schedule and milestones as required in the solicitation. 5. Total site portals - How many portals total should we plan do design? What is the expected level of design customization for each? ANS: There are 4 portals as displayed in Attachment 1 (color coded black) and there are many sub-portals (pages) associated with the main portals (top level portals). We require uniformity for each of the unit/section pages and further customization can be found at item 4 of the Deliverables. NOTE: Look at the provided NHKO site map and org chart for guidance. 6. Site owner meetings - Can you give us an idea of approximately how many site owners we would meet with? Is it anticipated that these meetings would take place at the kick-off meeting? ANS: At first blush, we should plan on the following site owner meetings: NHNG: TAG State Business Office PAO JAG/IG USPFO Joint: HRO J3 CST Counter Drug Army: Command G1 G3 G4 G6 Facilities Management Office Aviation and Safety Brigade/54th TC MEDCOM Recruiting 195th Regiment 7. Super User Training - The synopsis states that there would be no more than 18 persons per class, but it does not tell us how many persons total. Approximately how many training classes would we need to conduct to cover all super users? ANS: Approximately 53-55 personnel. A representative from each of the groups above should have at least one super-user for the small entities such as TAG, State Business Office, PAO, JAG/IG, CST, Counter Drug, Army Command, Aviation & Safety, and MEDCOM, and the 195th Regiment. Facilities, HRO, J3, G1, G3, G4, G6, FMO, and Recruiting could probably use a couple apiece. USPFO and HRO have more moving parts and may need even more. The 54th Troop Command and 197th Fires Brigade need someone from each of the headquarters elements and each company/battery (estimated at 19 total). 8. Should the total project cost be based on T&M or FFP? The solicitation does not provide direction. ANS: Firm Fixed Price (FFP). 8. Will you be issuing a pricing format for this solicitation? ANS: No 10. Do you want the technical and pricing responses to be in one binder or separate binders? ANS: Up to the discretion of the offeror, assuring that all the requirements listed in the solicitation are met. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (08-MAY-2009); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
