- The objective of this contract is as follows: (1) Analyze Severe Accident Debris Coolability issues, to review experimental data on Melt Coolability and Concrete Interaction (MCCI) and the MELCOR models in order to make recommendations for code assessment and dvelopment as necessary. (2) Fuel Coolant Interactions (FCI) Calcuations for SERENA Phase II are to perform pre-and post test analysis as well as parametric and sensitivity analyses of KROTOS andTROI experiments using Texas-V code. (3) Scoping Analysis for RCCS to provide a first order evaluation ofthe safety significance of VHTR-unique design features in relation to core, vessel and cavity cooling when the pressurized helium is lost due to a break in the primary cooling circuit.
