- Synopsis Solicitation Number AG-04R3-S-09-280433 Response Date: 06/19/2009 Solicitation Issue Date: 05/26/2009 100% Set-Aside for HUBZone NAICS: 115310 Forestry Services, $16.5 million THINNING AND HAND PILING ON THE WALLOWA MOUNTAIN RANGER DISTRICT ON THE WALLOWA-WHITMAN NATIONAL FOREST This solicitation will result in a unique arrangement that includes single award IDIQ contract with a minimum obligation. This project requires stand density management and will be primarily Thinning and Hand Piling. It incorporates silvicultural treatments through the process of felling trees to meet spacing, sanitation, quality selection, and slash fuel reduction requirements. Due to NEPA requirements, use of motorized equipment other than hand-held equipment such as power saws and brush cutters will not be permitted off designated roads in the project area without approval of the Contracting Officer. Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, transportation, operating supplies, inspections and incidentals. This project is located on the Wallowa Mountain Ranger District on the Wallowa Whitman National Forest. Contract maps showing project locations and access will be attached to the solicitation when posted.
