- Notice of Intent: The Bureau of Reclamation, Mt. Elbert Powerplant, FryingPan-Arkansas Project, in Colorado requires ten-year maintenance and inspection work on ABB SF6 circuit breakers with replacement of arcing contacts and the furnishing of three complete pole sets of spare moving and stationary arcing contacts. In accordance with FAR Part 12 and Part 13 procedures, Reclamation will issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) on or about May 28, 2009. Quotes will be due on or about June 19, 2009. The RFQ will be issued as full and open under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code 811310. The applicable size standard is $7M. The RFQ will be available for viewing through electronic commerce. RFQ Number 09SQ600095 will be issued via https://www.fbo.gov at the link provided in this notice. Interested vendors may also check Reclamation's website at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. The RFQ and any subsequent amendments and/or notices will be available to vendors on these websites after May 28, 2009. Hard copies will be available upon request. Note 1: Effective October 1, 2003, any contractor interested in doing business with the Federal Government must be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration. The vendor's Duns & Bradstreet number and banking information are required for registration. Contractors may register at http://www/ccr/gov. Note 2: Effective January 1, 2005, any contractor submitting a quotation, offer or proposal to the Government must complete their Representations and Certifications online. All representations and certifications which used to appear in Section K of Bureau of Reclamation Solicitations are now online. To complete your Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA), contractors shall go to http://orca.bpn.gov.
