- This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposal. A solicitation document will not be issued and proposals will not be requested. The National Institute on Drug Abuse, Office of Acquisitions-Neurosciences, Station Support/Simplified (SS/SA) Acquisition Branch, on behalf of the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke (NINDS) intends to negotiate on a FAR 12 basis and award a purchase order on a noncompetitive basis to TTP Labtech Ltd, Melbourne Science Park, Melbourne Royston SG8 6EE, Great Britain (GBR) for Mosquito Liquid Handling Robot. The patented Mosquito Liquid Handling Robot shall provide a positive displacement disposable tip technology for a precise, reliable and accurate pipetting of sub-micro-liter volumes of liquid. The features are described below. (1)The only automated positive displacement pipetting device in the market. (2) The only automated disposable tip based on pipetting device capable of accurately delivery nL volumes. (3) The only pipetting device capable of handling wide ranges of liquid viscosities without set-up changes. (4) The only crystallization robot capable of aspirating multiple source liquids and dispensing them simultaneously. (5) The only low volume crystallization robot capable of setting up handing drop sitting drop and micro batch experiments. Delivery Time 15 to 30 days after receipt of order. TTP Labtech is the only known manufacturer patent the Robot Mosquito Automated Platform to utilize in technology for nano-volume liquid handling with all associated accessories. The acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition using FAR 12 procedures and is exempt from the requirements of FAR Part 6, Competition Requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities in response to this synopsis. The determination by the Government not to compete the proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely with the discretion of the Government.
