- This synopsis is for the following NSN: 4235-01-379-8381, Hazardous Material Absorbent Pad, Unit Bale contains 200 each, size 20 in X 16 in X 0.125 in, 6 oz, and is in accordance with the following: Part Numbers GP86 from Empire Equipment and Supply Company Cage 0DWU2, 34302 from Absorption Corp. Cage 0GCG4, CEP-UP-200 from Environmental Safety Products Cage 1BH08, CEP-UP-200 from Complete Envrnmntl Products Inc., MAT 204 from New Pig Corporation Cage 1JA49, STS-72550SD from Safe-Tech Solutions LLC Cage 1TKG2, and 9235 from Bowhead Environmental and Safety Inc. Cage 4MS69. Direct access to defense and federal specifications, standards, and related standardization documents is available on the Internet via http://assist.dapsmil or http://www.dodssp.daps.mil. Solicitation will be issued as an Indefinite Quantity Contract, Firm Fixed Price with one base year plus four option years. Surge & Sustainment requirements do not apply for this requirement. For 4235-01-379-8381, pricing will be based on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) Quantity which is 1,512 BE for the base and option years. The Guaranteed Minimum Quantity (Base Year Only) is 378 BE. The Maximum Annual Contract Quantity is 3,024 BE for the base and each option year. The Minimum/Maximum per order for the base and option years is 378/1,512 BE. Solicitation will be issued under the procedures of Full & Open Competition after exclusion of sources as a 100% Small Business Set Aside. This is a commercial item being solicited I/A/W FAR PART 12. FOB is Destination. Inspection/Acceptance is at Destination. Quantity Variance is plus or minus 0%. Required delivery is 32 days ARO. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. DLA-Direct delivery will be to New Cumberland, PA & Tracy, CA only. This item is a critical application item but is not a Critical Safety Item (CSI) per SAP 05/07/09. The solicitation will be issued on May 26, 2009 with a closing date of June 16, 2009.
