Description
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to acquire services for coordinating and facilitating intervention development and adaptation of existing training tools, evaluation and monitoring planning, training technical assistance, and in assistance in locating, contacting, and accommodating multiple parties in the development and implementation of project plans. Intent is to award an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity, Single Award contract with a cost plus fixed fee pricing arrangement for a base and four option years. The contractor will be able to earn up to four additional option years, contingent upon the contractor being able to perform exceptionally under the contract. This requirement is being procured as a full and open competition. The purpose of this contract is to provide the Applied Sciences Branch (ASB), Division of Reproductive Health, National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion a reliable and ready source of support in project management, coordination and technical expertise in carrying out applied science projects related to the promotion of reproductive health and the prevention of HIV/STDs and teen pregnancy. Services for which task orders may be issued include: 1. Intervention development and training 2. Program management, administrative management, and implementation support 3. Program monitoring and evaluation planning 4. Data management and analysis support All deliverables to be disseminated to the programs or the public will comply with Section 508 (29 U.S.C. ‘ 794d) standards and requirements of the Rehabilitation Act. The competitive RFP will be made available under 2009-N-11195. This requirement is contingent upon the availability of funds. The RFP is anticipated for release on or about May 11, 2009. Interested parties must respond to the RFP in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. No hardcopy solicitation document is available, telephone requests will not be honored, and no offeror's list will be maintained. Notifications will not be sent to the offerors regarding the issuance of the solicitation nor any of its amendments. It is the offerors responsibility to check this website.
